about Wildwood Lore
Wildwood Lore is a music and storytelling project created by Ron Marvin and brought to life through the artist persona of Rowan Wildwood. Blending creative writing and original lyrics with emerging AI-assisted technologies, the project explores spirituality, nature, transformation, belonging, and the mysteries of the human experience.
Wildwood Lore brings ancient symbols into modern stories. Forest animals, rivers, spiritual journeys, and the roads we travel become part of a larger, interconnected world. Through song and prose, the project explores our search for connection, healing, belonging, and a deeper sense of purpose.
These are ancient echoes for modern journeys—reminders that much of what we seek may already live within us, and that in seeking inward, we may also discover a wider community of kindred souls.
I’m inspired by nature—especially mountains and pine forests, and most of all by those places where trees and stone meet.
When I sit quietly in these places, the noise of everyday life begins to fade. Sometimes my muses appear: a raven watching from a nearby branch, a deer moving silently through the trees, or simply the wind carrying a story I hadn’t heard before.
In a world that so often draws our attention away from the natural rhythms around us, I believe it is important to keep that connection alive—to notice the moon, look up at the stars, listen to the trees, and remember that we are part of something much older and greater than ourselves.
Perhaps nature is always speaking. We just need to pay attention.
